Do the work
The gentle kick in the pants you might need to increase productivity and positive results.
Have you - in the past of course - been too lazy to be more successful? Or richer or healthier or to get the results you want or whatever? You already know what you need to do. Do the work dude. You know it. Just do it. Get annoyed enough with yourself for not doing it so that you do it.
So what do you need to do? The stuff you've been putting off usually. The stuff you avoid. The stuff you make excuses about not being able to do. Fat and don't like running? Start running. But my knee... Walk then... My other knee... Swim. Stop making stupid excuses that blame something else other than your resistance to doing what needs to be done.
Albert Gray, an insurance guy in the 1940s said in a famous speech titled The Common Denominator of Success, "The common denominator of success is that successful people form the habit of doing things that failures don't like to do."
We all have areas of our life that we could be more successful in. So we need to replace existing habits with new positive habits. The existing habits are the ones you created that stop you doing the things necessary to achieve that success. If you don't know what they are, then turn up your awareness levels to when you start stopping your own progress.

I have a chapter of a cool book and some excellent (and funny) videos that I'd love to share with you. Plus I'll let you know when I publish new posts. Simply enter your email address and we'll manage the rest! Oh, and I promise I won't send you any nonsense that adds no value (only the value-adding nonsense). - Tim
I suspect you know what they are though. It's what Steven Pressfield, in his wonderful book The War of Art, describes as a malevolent force called Resistance. It's also you resisting your own goals. It's born from Fear.
Recognise the fear and the resistance and do what needs to be done anyway. Get the damn thing done. Done is better than perfect. And if you can get it done early in the day, then that makes the day an immediate victory already and everything else is easy peasy by comparison. Yep, I said easy peasy. Stop focussing on that. Get the work done.
In fact, stop reading blogs and go and do the thing you know you need to get done! Actually, first share the post, follow, like, subscribe, all of that, it'll take you 16 seconds and THEN go and do the thing you know you need to get done! :)
